Visioning Charrette

Seabrook, New Hampshire

 

Selected by Mettee Planning Consultants to be on their team to provide visioning and "out of the box" thinking for a new town center in Seabrook, NH. g2+1's primary responsbility was to provide site design and landscape architectural expertise to supplement a team of architects, engineers, planners and interested town residents during what became a very spirited and interesting "charrette" experience.  Assisted in facilitating discussions with interested participants as design efforts progressed.

 

Work commenced with a team site walk of the overall study area to brainstorm initial impressions and to formulate a framework for conceptual design during the "charette." We then explored macro scale circulation and nodal concepts along Route 1. Examined optional site designs for a new town hall complex to serve future town needs and to create revenue generating mixed-use land use options for the property.
