In a team collaboration managed by Mettee Planning Consultants of Dover, NH, g2+1 contributed site design services to examine the development potential of a 7.2 acre abandoned property on Route 28 in Yarmouth, MA.

 

g2+1's initial work focused on doing an evaluation of the site to determine its opportunities and constraints to development. Following this effort we contributed to project visioning to create an optimum site plan as well as prepare conceptual sketches to test alternative site and amenity treatments to satisfy the client's development and marketing goals. Specific tasks included testing a series of conceptual site plan layouts to examine options for dwelling unit density, building configuration, parking count, impervious coverage, common amenity space and "Front Door" presentation.

 

g2+1 was responsible for development of alternative site plan scenarios for review and comment by members of the design team. We also prepared presentation graphics for the client to present to town and state boards to initiate discussions that could frame acceptable development partnerships and for preliminary project cost evaluation.
