g2+1 was selected by Mettee Planning Consultants to be on a design charrette team to provide site and landscape architectural focused "Visioning" to guide the direction of future expansion of Center Sandwich. Additionally, we helped facilitate public input sessions to focus and define what the residents wanted and/or did not want their town to become in the future.

 

Based on those sessions g2+1 crafted a series of site studies to illustrate how different areas of Center Sandwich could be developed while providing housing options, economic opportunities and preserve the architectural character and streetscape vocabulary of the town.

 

Design focused on discrete areas of the town to illustrate vacant property "In-Fill Expansion," "Cluster Development" and Traditional Subdivision" layouts. Concepts were then incorporated in the planner's task to upgrade the town's zoning ordinance.
