Sam's Club Master Plan
Hudson, New Hampshire

In 1991, Mr. Greiner assisted a local engineering firm with the site development design of a Sam's Club store in Hudson, NH. Responsible for overall landscape and irrigation design for the entire property including project entries, median and island "streetscape," screening where required and ground cover plantings for a meaningful landscape finish and visual experience for its customers. Furthermore, he examined site layout, access and landscape issues affecting the development of a proposed community center to occur on the south end of the property.

Services included conceptual design, design development of parking area streetscape, compliance with zoning and site plan review regulations and exploring options for front elevation planters at the front entry to the store.  He prepared final drawings for bidding and construction as well as presentation materials for planning board approval.

Then, in 2002, g2+1 was retained to assess the condition of this project's eleven year old landscape, make recommendations for its renovation and to assure compliance with current town regulations.  Also, the redesign was done to address new owner priorities for cost, long term maintenance and to upgrade the store's landscape presentation to its customers.
