g2+1 was retained to develop an overall landscape and hardscape master plan for a Merrymeeting Lake camp as well as the necessary state permits to construct a shoreline patio and firepit.
Work began with conceptual site design to examine options for car access into the site down a 45 degree sloped driveway, provide parking for a minimum of three cars, accommodate a small storage shed and address storm drainage and access around the house and front entry. Shoreline work focused on creating a landscaped setting around a fire pit and natural stone patio with lake access.
A unique challenge was to tastefully resolve a drainage issue at the camp's front entry with construction of a brick walk, stone bridge and faux creek bed in conjunction with landscape treatment around the entire house.
