g2+1 was retained by Chinburg Builders, Inc. to examine options for creating an ADA compliant walkway from the upper level parking lot to the river's edge and a proposed boat dock. The solution was done with a series of serpentine retaining walls and narrow planting beds that achieved an acceptable grade and a comfortable pedestrian walk with no handrails.

 

Other services included developing an overall landscape finish for the complete project to promote that "first impression" critical for sales while creating a comfortable setting for the residents.  Design work also examined options for thematic site lighting, construction of private patio spaces with separation from the parking area to foster a sense of privacy, stone wall details and addressing public access issues from adjoining properties.
